AfroSAFE Conference and Training Workshop in Zambia

The 3rd AfroSAFE Academy Conference is currently underway in Lusaka, Zambia (June 8–12, 2026).

This major event focuses on the theme: „Building Sustainable Road Safety Systems for Africa: From Data to Implementation and Ownership.”.

The event includes a comprehensive 5-day workshop and training program featuring a police traffic inspection excursion, main conference sessions focused on road safety, and an AfroSAFE project side event showcasing four years of research and impact.

 The conference takes place at the University of Zambia in Lusaka. It is organized by the Zambia Road Safety Trust (ZRST), the Road Transport and Safety Agency (RTSA), and the University of Zambia School of Engineering.
