On March 27, 2025, the AfroTrans project team held another productive online meeting to discuss the current progress and upcoming tasks across key work packages.

WP1 – Financial statement:
The current status of financial documentation was reviewed, with a reminder to keep records up to date. -
WP1 – Deliverables and Milestones:
The team discussed the timeline for upcoming deliverables, including the first progress report, teaching methodologies, and the quality assurance plan. Attention was given to upcoming milestones such as curriculum approvals. -
WP2 – Curriculum and Knowledge Base Development:
Discussions focused on curriculum development, including course evaluations and the preparation of subject cards and teaching methodologies for the master’s program. Ensuring academic alignment and consistency with project objectives was emphasized. -
WP4 – Summer School:
Plans for the summer school in Germany and Poland were presented, including the schedule, travel arrangements, accommodation, and logistics. Emphasis was placed on effective coordination and providing a high-quality learning experience. -
WP4 – Lab Equipment:
The meeting included an update on the procurement of lab equipment. Next steps were outlined, and the importance of meeting formal requirements, such as proper equipment labeling, was underlined. - WP5 – E-learning Platforms and Dissemination:
Two e-learning platforms were presented and reviewed, including their features, advantages, and potential limitations. Partners will test these platforms to assess their suitability for the master’s program. Additionally, the team reviewed progress in the Dissemination Tracker database, used to monitor project dissemination activities.
The meeting concluded with a summary of upcoming tasks and a reaffirmation of the collaborative efforts required to achieve the project’s goals.
